Meredith Vieira of NBC "Today" tells MORE Magazine that she turned down the post-prison interview with Paris Hilton. "I did not feel good about [it]. I just said, 'I don't think this is right, this is all about ratings," she told MORE. "There was this whole thing about whether we were going to give her a special, and all of this minutiae and craziness." Really now.... Why suddenly does Vieira (and other networks newsies who claim their turned down the Hilton interview) take a stand with Hilton? Can you count the silly, tabloid, horrid interviews conducted almost daily on network news? It's an abyss. By the way, Larry King ended up with that interview.
