Laura Bush To Host An Hour Of 'Today'

So how is this for stunting: First Lady Laura Bush will host the third hour of 'Today' on April 22. She is expected to be joined by her daughter Jenna.. and to promote her new book. TVNewser has some details..... So you have to wonder how 'Today' scored this deal. Was it simply a unique spin to promote the book? Perhaps... they are already searching for the co-anchor of a yet to be announced fifth hour of 'Today'. Before long, Matt Lauer and his troop of merry co-anchors can toss directly to Brian Williams. Afterall, who needs local or syndication? ((Yes, I was joking about Bush hosting a fifth hour... but one never knows.))
