A quick update to my rant last week about Jenna Wolfe and her ‘pretty boy’ buddies (all of which really annoyed me as a viewer) on ‘Weekend Today’ over the holiday weekend.
Today, Lester Holt (who should feel abused by working morning and nights on both weekend days) returned to the show with Amy Robach beside him on the anchor desk. I was never a major fan of hers either. But, she is far more comfortable, competent and tolerable on the anchor desk. She doesn't yell at me... She talks to me as a viewer. Jenna Wolfe was back at the news desk. To avoid a Christmas weekend rant, I’ll avoid the ‘Weekend Today’ fill-in roster that weekend!
Ooopppsss. Couldn't resist one more YouTube clip.

"Here are some comments from the last post about Jenna Wolfe, Amy Robach and 'Today'.
I really enjoyed the Sunday show today. It is those unpredictable comments that make it fun. Great show Saturday, great show today."
"If you enjoy Lester Holt squirming with confusion and confoundment as to what his role is when his co-host keeps trying to dominate the show, then the show was about as enjoyable as it can get."
"Sundays are just uncomfortable. It is like inviting over the crazy uncle for the Holiday's and being continuosly nervous about what might come out of his mouth. That is the same feeling I get with Jenna Wolfe."
"Jenna's voice is not soothing. She did a piece on a taser party and refrained from her most annoying humor. Howver, her piece on the "what I learned from women who dumped me" was dull. Also, she kept interrupting the guests with stupid mumblings. She soaked up ann curry advertising jenna's dating status."

Jenna Wolfe is an idiot. Self-centered show-off. What can NBC be thinking? They are cornering the market on obnoxious women broadcasters--first Meredith Vieira, now Wolfe. The Today Show needs anchors and newsreaders with dignity, not Dennis Miller wannabes.
Love your take! It's unfortunate that TV news has become so driven by looks instead of substance. We've all talked about it for years. Now, it seems to be at an all-time worst.
It's been stunning to watch the dumbing-down of "Today" over the past decade. While the show was never "Meet the Press," there was always a delicate balance between the hard news and the softer features. When the show was at its best -- the Bryant Gumbel-Jane Pauley and Gumbel-Katie Couric years -- that balance was there. In the later years of the Couric-Matt Lauer partnership, entertainment started to take over, and it's all but vanquished the news side. If you miss the first ten minutes of the show, you've missed the news.
And even worse, the quality of the talent has declined precipitously in the past 25 years. Gumbel was arguably the best show anchor since Dave Garroway, occasional prickly behavior aside. Pauley was poised, professional, and down-to-earth. Couric, at her best, was the saucy girl next door. Matt Lauer is very good but doesn't command the show in the style of his predecessors, and Vieira still has the air of a newcomer over a year after her arrival on the "Today" set.
Lester Holt is a total pro and was terrific to watch when he was hosting with Campbell Brown, who should have gotten Katie Couric's job. But now Weekend "Today" is adrift, and the ratings prove it.
Are you sure? Amy has been doing Saturdays and Jenna doing Sundays -each with their name streaming as the co-host for that respective day in the opening bit. I am hoping the execs at NBC can give Lester the opportunity to bring Weekend today back. So disappointed that they let Campbell Brown get away. I can't even watch Jenna. She tries too hard to be funny and is often taking herself off topic (ooh I tripped, which leads to some obscure story) and then rushing the content of the segment. She doesn't come off as spontaneous and fun - but the LOUD one in the room that won't SHUT UP.
I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who can't stand Jenna! She's so loud and always gives me the feeling that she thinks she's the star of the show. Poor Lester! My boyfriend, who is a Campbell Brown fan, is ready to boycott Weekend Today. I have to say, I'm with him.
I LOVE ALL THE COMMENTS. THANKS FOR TAKING PART IN THE DISCUSSION. But do you really think Campbell Brown was that good? I find her a lot better than Jenna. But, I now wonder if she can handle CNN primetime? Her performance on the debate a few weeks ago left a lot to be desired.
This anchor situation is ridiculous. Where did Jenna come from? She was doing sports on the local NY station, now she is in this complicated news anchor situation. It was bad enough when Campbell left. Why is NBC doing this? Lester appears so uncomfortable. Doesn’t NBC have enough talented anchors to replace both and stop this bad TV?
That's a good point. Check out my latest post here. Weekend 'Today' challenges.
http://mediaanswers.blogspot.com/2007/12/weekend-today-challenge-jenna-wolfe-amy.html
Watching Jenna Wolfe is like watching a self-centered squeaky toy. I turned her off this morning and cleaned the kitty litter box. Big improvement.
And while, I'm at it, will some one teach Meredith Vierra to read from a teleprompter, or just lower the damn thing.
Finally! I am not the only one who finds Jenna Wolfe to be the most annoying, loud, rude, obnoxious, cold anchor in NBC Today show history! I adore Amy Robach who is a warm, friendly, well-spoken, fun news anchor. She is a joy to watch on weekend mornings. NBC please keep Amy on both Saturday and Sunday's from now on. Please remove Jenna from the show completely... even her reading the morning news headlines is too much to take
Get rid of Jenna Wolf!
Lester is terrific.
How about partnering him with Paula Zahn. I'm finished with Weekend Today on Sundays -- what a shame.
I completely and whole-heartedly agree! I can't stand Jenna Wolfe and I'm ready to stop watching completely. I feel bad for Lester. Don't you think he has any say in who co-hosts with him? My favorite Jenna moment was when the Today Show was collecting for charity and a well-intended sponsor showed up with lots of product to donate. She started grabbing the products saying, "Oh this is mine!!". Selfish, greedy, and NOT funny.
I tried to email my complaint to WT@nbc.com (using the link on their website). Big surprise ... the email bounced. No way to register a complaint! They don't want to know!!!
BOYCOTT THE SHOW until Jenna Goes!
Jenna Wolf's audience is probably
comprised of all mothers who raised
an ugly daughter who tried to compensate by being obnoxious.
A few weeks ago she reported on a
tornado and said "I never knew they
moved so fast"!
Lester is probably under compensated
for all he does. The network should
give him combat pay for working with her.
There are obviously a lot of people passionate about Jenna and 'Today'. But no one should fault her or attack her for taking a job offered to her! I kind of feel bad that my posts have opened up any person attacks! How many of us would take a great job? I think we all should. She should conitnue to push for as much as she can in her career. I didn't start my post about weekend 'Today' as an attack on Jenna... but more of a challenge to NBC to give us a more watchable product on Sundays. I know it sounds like splitting hairs. But, more power to Jenna if NBC continues to invest in her in the position. As a viewer though, I just like more chemistry and a more natural and easy flow to a weekend morning newscast that I wake up to. So, it's up to management. Will they make a change?
I'm watching the weekend today show and I noticed Jenna is not anchoring with Lester. I didn't hear Amy Robach say "sitting in today for.." so I thought, "did Jenna get fired?" I then see her report news, and her tone seemed very firm returning it back to Lester and the crew. Low and behold I find out she is no longer co host with Lester and I'm pleased. I thought it was just me that was annoyed by her yelling and being so loud, it drove me crazy and I would turn to another show. I see lots of potential in her and I'm sure she will anchor again. Good for Jenna for taking the opportunity. Anyone that does that can only grow and learn and become better for it.
Actually I think they are still splitting weekends. Amy does Saturday with Jenna reading news. Jenna does Sunday with a fill-in news reader.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one totally disgusted with the obnoxious Jenna Wolfe. She just insulted Carson Daly by telling him not to "mess up" the New Year's Eve celebration at Times Square. He looked shocked, but recovered and said, dryly, "Thanks. I won't." On the o ther hand, I love Lester, and unlike some other posters, I like Meredith V very much.
I have never posted before, but this morning I finally felt strong enough to write about how much I dislike Jenna Wolfe. I love Amy Robach and watching on Sunday is painful. I love Lester Holt and am a true Today fan. They need to get rid of Jenna and let Amy have the weekend job. I feel like they are both "auditioning" for the permanent spot, but i like that Jenna has to sit at the news desk and watch Amy anchor and never vice versa!
We are distressed at the increasing and continued presence of Jenna Wolfe on Weekend Today. She is obnoxious and completely ego-centric. NBC should give the full Weekend Today co-host job to Amy Robach who is bright, charming and mature. Lester Holt and Amy Robach are a fantastic team.
I came across this blog this morning after Googling "Jenna Wolfe", whom I was watching incredulously for the first time on Weekend Today. It's hard to believe that the NBC execs couldn't find someone less grating and more sympathetic than this for the co-anchor spot. Unlike some of the other posters to this discussion, I was never a big fan of Campbell (those shoes are just adorable!) Brown - I thought she brought too much fluff to the show. The show has been in decline since Soledad O'Brien left in 2002 B.C. (Before Campbell).
If NBC can't come up with better anchors from within their organization, they ought to poach some credible reporters or anchors from ABC such as Sonya Crawford or Taina Hernandez, or any other number of talented reporters, for such a prominent position. Puhleeze.
This is the first time I've ever posted to a blog, but my dislike of Jenna Wolfe is so strong I just HAVE to say something. My husband and I can't stand her. We end up turning off the TV or leaving the room for most of Sunday Today. What is NBC thinking???? Maybe Ms. Wolfe was a good sports anchor (her aggressive personality might be a good fit for the sports world)-- but she is not repeat NOT anchor material. Her loud, abrasive, and ego-centric manner is sickening, especially so early in the morning. Please bring back Amy Robach -- or anyone else, for that matter -- to co-host with Lester, whom we like. Maybe the best way to get NBC's attention is to make the sponsors who advertise on Sunday Today aware of this blog....
Never blogged before, but have been a Weekend Today fan for several years. I also enjoyed Campbell Brown hosting the weekend with Lester Holt. When Campbell left, it left a void which Amy Robach never seemed to fill in the 5 or 6 months that she hosted the Sat and Sunday shows. She never perked up and was not animated and outgoing in her delivery. This is probably why she was never given the show on a permanent basis. When Jenna Wolfe came on board, Amy Robach changed, and in a good way. She started to really interact with Lester Holt and improved on her delivery and demeanor, and was more charismatic. She became watchable. Then came Jenna Wolfe who was different than any other personality they have used recently. She is out of the mold, unpredictable and contagious. I look forward to watching Jenna on Sundays, but I also look forward to watching Amy on Saturdays. I am afraid that without Jenna there, Amy will return to the old personality she was, and not be as good. Maybe that is the reason they have Jenna reading the news on the days Amy is anchoring.
There has to be a reason that Amy alone could not land a permanent spot on the show after all these months that Campbell left, but yet now with her on Saturdays and Jenna on Sundays, they both pull off a great weekend of watching.
Congratulations to NBC for creating a great combination on the Weekends.
I was never really a fan of weekend today but since they have the Jenna/Amy split on the weekends I look forward to watching it every weekend. Another posting on this site hit it right on the nose, having Jenna their has really pushed Amy to do a better job, and Jenna really perks up the show on Sundays. Finally NBC has taken the stand and put someone as an anchor that really gives the show some life. What do these other posting want a perky Morning show or a sleepy version of an overnight show. Wake up and be happy with this great combo. Kudos to NBC!!! You really hit a homerun with this combo!!!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I find Jenna to be completely hostile towards Lester, self-absorbed, and painful to watch. This morning she made some dumb joke while reading the news (!) and I guess she was chided in her ear because she quickly said it was a joke.
I don't like that she makes fun of Lester, who is a class act and the star. Jenna is that annoying girl in school that nobody likes because she's loud and full of herself.
I wish they'd dump her altogether because I can't really watch anymore and I'm a longtime Weekend Today fan. I miss Campbell. Amy is good, but Jenna has GOT TO GO. She has no respect for Lester.
I thought the interaction this morning between Amy and Jenna was fantastic. When they came back after the Gladiator story, Amy and Jenna were fantastic together and again out on the plaza. More reason that both should have their own show on the Weekend. Amy on Saturday and Jenna on Sunday. They both are great co-anchors with Lester. They proved it again today by how they gel together.
Agree with you. The two looked and acted great together
I'm a loyal Today show viewer, but can't watch Jenna Wolfe because she is goofy, loud and has to be the center of attention. She is anchoring this morning (Sunday) with Lester. Love Lester, but I changed the channel to GMA.
Emails to three different email links on the NBC / Today Show website bounced back. The email address below works and I received an autoreply confirmation that the message was received:
Today@NBCUNI.com
Jenna Wolfe is like a loud, boisterous drunk at the bar except the only fuel to her personality is air. She will eventually cause the ratings to go down. I realize she takes on these crazy assignments but instead of participating in the overall event and allowing the viewer to feel a part of it she focuses all the attention on herself and I'm just watching this loud obnoxious person who I would not invite into my home in person, yet shows up at my front door with a really good "friend", Lester.
The ratings is what will make the decision, not the volume of her voice or whether someone would invite her into their home. Saturday and Sunday were both solid shows. GMA was very weak on Sunday with Kate Snow out on a remote in New Hampshire. I dont see where you can put them on the same playing field with Robach/Wolfe/Holt
Well hopefully NBC pays attention to the ratings. It's really sad, because until this, Weekend Today was so nice to wake up to. I've liked all the anchors for the past few years ... Lester Holt, Campbell Brown (the best!!), Soldead O'Brien, and David Bloom. They've all felt like family, or at least welcome visitors to the house. I agree that Amy may not be top shelf, but she's pleasant and likable. Jenna is just too loud and grating, and I just can't watch. Didn't even know GMA had a weekend show (that's how loyal I've always been to Weekend Today). I'll definitely check it out next weekend. Thanx for the 411...
If you are hoping NBC pays attention to the ratings. This is from their last sweeps period, Nov, when you had the team of Robach/Wolfe/Holt
NEW YORK- November 30, 2007- According to Nielsen Media Research data, NBC News' weekend edition of "Today" outperformed ABC News' weekend edition of "Good Morning America" in total viewers, homes and all key demos for the November 2007 sweep.
For the November sweep, "Saturday Today" averaged 3.755 million viewers, a +38% (+1.027 million) over "Saturday GMA's" 2.728 million viewers and +126% (+2.095 million) more than "CBS Saturday Early Show's" 1.660 million viewers.
In homes, "Saturday Today" was No. 1 with a 2.9 rating and a 10 share. "Saturday GMA" placed second with a 2.2/8 and "CBS Saturday Early Show" placed third with a 1.3/5.
In the key demographic of adults 25-54, "Saturday Today" posted a 1.2 surpassing "Saturday GMA's" 0.9 and "CBS Saturday Early Show's" 0.6.
For the sweep, "Sunday Today" delivered 3.374 million viewers 29% (749,000 viewers) more than "Sunday GMA's" 2.625 million viewers. In homes, "Sunday Today" posted a 2.5/9 topping "Sunday GMA's" 2.0/7. In the key demographics of adults 25-54, "Sunday Today" posted a 1.1 beating "Sunday GMA's" 0.9.
Interesting. But I for one have never checked out the competition before (and didn't even know GMA had a weekend show). If Jenna stays on Sundays, it sounds like a lot of loyal viewers are going to bolt. It should be interesting to see the stats in another month or so...
If the people didnt bolt for the first 5 months post Brown, why should they bolt now when they contributed to a winning sweeps month with the Robach/Wolfe/Holt team in place.
Viewers probably didn't bolt right away because they were okay with Amy Robach. Now that Jenna's apparently doing the Sunday slot, it looks like former fans are bolting in droves.
I cant stand Jenna. She reminds me of a skinny Rosie.
I no longer watch the Sunday Morn. Today show when this obnoxious, gross, Rosie wannabe is on.
If Jenna stays, I go. Tbere must be another morning show on Sundays. You will loose me and several of my friends and family. She is so obnoxious,it is always Jenna, Jenna and Jenna and always buts in and thinks she is number one to Lester. He must feel awful and cannot express his feelings because he is not the boss. Amy is a lady with a sense of humor and down to earthness. She just fits right in with Lester. Jenna belongs on a comedy show even though she is not funny but rude.
Jenna Wolfe is an unattractive inarticulate annoyance, her diction is atrocious and slurs her words out of the sides out of her mouth. Is NBC being blackmailed or something to give her screen time?? Oh for the days of Soledad O'Brien, articulative and eye candy. Amy Robach is professional, warm and competent as well as attractive. Jenna reminds me of a thin Rosie O'Donnel
Oh my goodness...I knew Jenna was terrible, now this blog confirms that I'm not the only one who feels this way. I tuned in this weekend to see if Mika was reading the news. Unfortunately, she is not. Poor Lester looks so uncomfortable when Jenna is there. It seems as though he is always prepared for her to say something that falls flat. Painful to watch. Her voice is grating, her delivery obnoxious, and does she have a lisp? I can't even watch her. Nobody else injects personal details about themselves the way she does. I don't care what her religion is, but I've heard her mention it several times. Who does that on TV? Sunday Today is on, it's time to go clean the bathroom.
Add me to the long list of Anti Jenna. I was certain it was only me who found her jarring, loud, twisted mouth delivery unbearable. I said to myself "who IS this woman?" When I wake up on weekends, I want warm, fuzzy, nice nice feelings, not a scary, loud, obnoxious onslaught. Please, NEW ANCHOR NBC.
I wondering why everybody hate jenna wolf so much. I've watched her and she does not sound as loud as many claim. Some of the blogs have even called her unatractive and I fine this comment off base as well. She seems to me be smart, outgoing and confident, maybe to confident for some of our society to accept. It seems like the anchors jenna's critics want to see were all white. Unfortunately, it seems to me jenna's critics would only be happy if jenna was completely white and just light skinned. America still has a long way to go.......
That seems somewhat ignorant. Not to say that some people aren't thinking that, but plenty of people don't like Wolfe for non-racial reasons. In fact, it seems that most people don't like Wolfe because she appears to make her African-American cohost uncomfortable. I bet if you asked many of Wolfe's critics if they approve of Hoda Kotb, almost all of them would say yes. I am personally fine with confident, but there's a limit. You don't express your confidence to the extent that you are constantly interrupting your cohost unless the format specifically calls for it.
Wolfe's volume may not necessarily be loud, but she projects loud. She sounds like she's trying to talk over people. She could learn a lot from Kotb, who adjusts her tone and volume appropriately to the situation.
today ( sat 1/26) Amy threw it over to Jenna for news and she started " UM....a body was found near Chicago" and then stumbled into the next story as if she wasn't even prepared. Amy R is so professional, warm and likable. The racial angle on Jenna is ridiculous, I have no idea what race she even is and never gave it thought, too busy deciphering her lisp delivery and idiotic remarks. Poor Mr Holt, he must not have any leverage at NBC, only at MSNBC. Jenna went from a sports reporter in Philly to NBC network anchor just like that ,UNBELIEVABLE.
I realized that I never liked Jenna Wolfe, but never knew why. After reading all the posts, I discovered its because she reminds me of the leader of a "mean-girls clique" that every high school has. Rather than have a woman anchor who is articulate and intelligent, NBC has chosen a "Valley-Girl" approach to news. Her racial makeup has nothing to do with her ineptitude. Clearly the bloggers love and respect Lester, Soledad and Hoda who are all minorities.
Sunday after Sunday, I watch the Today show uttering remarks at the TV like "Oh, shut up, Jenna!", and "You're an idiot, Jenna!", with my girlfriend agreeing that she's the worst anchor ever on the Sunday Today show. Even the dolts on the local breakaway segments are less irritating - GET RID OF HER!!
I find Jenna very annoying. I thought it was just me but after reading the posts I see that I'm in good company. Have you also noticed the interaction between Jenna and Lester? It seems very strained. He actually seems just as annoyed with her as we are.
I guess we are all in agreement that Jenna Wolfe must go! She is so abnoxious and annoying! I can't stand to listen any longer. I used to enjoy my morning news on Sundays, now it is dreadful, and even more uncomfortable watching Lester deal with this stupid woman!
I find Amy great on Saturdays, and Jenna on Sundays. Both shows are different yet equally enjoyable. Both bring a different style and delivery to the Weekend Today show. The Today show dominates on Weekdays as well as on Weekends. Keep the status quo!
I thought it was only me that didn`t like Jenna Wolfe, but reading other comments i could see that i`m not the only one that dislikes her. She`s everything don`t like about someone.
She should go and fast.I feel bad for Lester Holt, for his sake she should get the booth as fast as possible.
It's not rocket science; Amy Robach has class and poise, and Jenna's grating and tries too hard. No clue what NBC is thinking on this one.
What is wrong with this picture?
This morning (Sunday 3/16), you have the brilliant, beautiful, talented and classy Norah O’Donnell reading the news … and the loud, obnoxious, pushy and irritating Jenna Wolfe co-hosting the show.
Every time Wolfe opens her mouth, I hit the ‘mute’ button, go for another cup of coffee or click on Fox News. If NBC needs more proof, just look at the great Lester Holt’s body language every time Wolfe tries to get too ‘cozy.’
The Lester Holt-Amy Robach team on Saturday is great (Amy is the most talented and beautiful anchor on TV today IMHO) ... and Today is squandering a potential SLAM-DUNK winning combination on Sunday if it doesn't pair Lester with Norah O'Donnell and derail the Jenna Wolfe 'experiment' once and for all.
Has NBC not gotten it yet Jenna Wolf must go.She is so annoying. She is not the girl for the weekend spot.I would love to know who she knows.Anyway the point is weekends are for relaxing with your cup of coffee and the news she is anything but relaxing, when I hear her voice I sign off. Please leave Amy in the spot or start interviewing.
They both are talented in their own ways, I love Amy's exotically, beautiful features and calmness she brings to the table. Jenna on the other hand is funny, quirky and just downright entertaining.
I hate to say it, but in my opinion Campbell Brown was overrated.
Don't always watch weekend show, but when Jenna was doing "features" on todayshow, I wondered "WHY?" Now she is the cohost???? Not pleasant to listen to, not funny, not enjoyable - what happend to Amy?
Lester is great, but I can't stand Jenna beside him, so you've lost another viewer
Jenna Wolf appears to have been taken out of the co-host spot on the weekends, thank God. There is so much talent out there I can's imagine how any suit at NBC could think this woman is right for the show.
She is the most obnoxious self centered moron I've ever seen on a national news show. In fact the Philadelphia market has at least 10 talented newswoman who could do better. Jenna needs to go, completey, not even good for segments, she is such an idiot. She's that precocious child who has grwon up, and no one liked her as a child, but tolerated her because she was a child. Well now she an obnoxious adult and we dont have to tolerate obnoxious adults! Poor Lester Holt, there is no chemistry and its not his fault, Jenna was like watching a slow motion car accident.
God Jenna is annoying! I dont understand what they are thinking leaving her on. It's unfortunate that some of those hating Jenna Wolfe have made anti-semetic commnents, that crosses the line in my view. But she is obnoxious and sadly has some of those pushy Jewish qualities that have caused those who perhaps don't know nice decent Jewish people to stereotype her as an annoying JAP bitch that you just want to slap if she was sitting next to you in a public place and you overheard her talking.
We have only watched the Saturday Today show for the last several months. The obnoxious Jenna Wolfe finally drove us away. She has zero personality, zero charisma and zero talent. While Amy Robach and Lester Holt have great chemistry (I actually think they're vastly superior to Lauer and Veiera), poor Lester has to suffer through Sundays with Jenna! Please NBC, send Wolfe back to broafcasting sports on a 50 watt radio station.
I don't really wish to slam Jenna Wolfe, because she is only trying to do the best she can. But I certainly am disappointed with the Today Show for trying to find a "cutesy" replacement for Katie Couric. Doesn't anyone see a resemblence?? Jenna is hard to watch and listen to. She tries way too hard, as did Couric, at times. She makes inappropriate comments and is NOT funny. How did Jenna get such a big postition so fast? The best women on NBC are Meredith Viera, Natalie Morales and Amy Robach. I hope Natalie Morales gets promoted after her maternity leave, as she is one of the nicest, most sincere and comfortable people to watch on the show!!
Thank God Amy has the 2 hour weekend spot and Jenna has the 1 hour spot. I invest my time into the Saturday show and skip the Sunday show.
Jenna Wolfe...oh dear..how painful she is to watch. I just finished watching the Sunday Today Show. Shouldn't have sat thru it, am my own worst enemy. Her squeaky voice got right thru my brain. She's an attn seeker for sure. I feel bad for Lester. He's the consummate professional. So good at what he does. Is he be reprimanded for being too good? Why is he forced to work with her? Very strange. They need to rid themselves of her. She's a headache...oh, Meet the PRess is on...love it!
Jenna Wolf is certaintly no Campbell Brown, never was , never will be. Her attempts to inject humor in her interviews comes off as self-centered arrogance and in some cases ignorance. Not quite sure how long NBC will leave her on the TODAY show, but I really wish the bosses would read these posts and realize they represent only about 5-10% of what the viewing public feels. I would make a move to get rid of Jenna Wolf asap. It may already be too late to save ratings for 2008, but hopefully they care about the 2009 ratings.
PLEASE !!! NBC...GET THE HOOK, AND PULL JENNA WOLF OFF THE STAGE.
My husband and are are life long Today Show fans. After painfully watching the weekend shows once Jenna Wolf joined, we've finally had to say good-bye to weekend with NBC even though we love Lester Holt. It appears to the view, that Jenna Wolf must have a relative or godfather at NBC. How else could this common, obnoxious, self involved no talent be on NBC's Today Show?
This morning I thought I'd tune in once more. Hey, maybe it was just us so turned off by Wolf. from her very first show. After just a few minutes, I decided I just had to post something and was relieved to see so many people feel the same. Certainly NBC must be aware of viewer discomfort and dislike of Jenna Wolf, so again, why is she still on the program at all????
Beyond a simple annoyance, she possesses an uncontrolled need to upstage, overpower and her level of self confidence is because why? She's an ambitious no talent tomboy type bully. PLEASE BRING THE QUALITY BACK TO NBC, AND GIVE LESTER HOLD THE RESPECT HE DESERVES. If I were Lester, I would dread weekends with this no talent.
